Why We Stand for National Anthem

   In honor of the the 4th of July holiday here is a post about Tacoma History.  I bet you didn't know that standing for the National Anthem originated in Tacoma. Check out this great article from "The Senior Scene," written by Bonnie Dickson.

Thanks Shirley for sharing this article. Just another reason to take pride in Tacoma and in the heritage of our country. I hope to be hearing and standing for our National Anthem a lot this week-end!
